As part of Randstad’s global Procurement function, you’ll play an important role in supporting category managers with developing and implementing category strategies for all BPS categories. You will also offer operational support for travel arrangements, travel reporting, and the management of our booking platform. In this role, you will be the go-to person for all operational sourcing and support inquiries related to BPS. The role reports directly into the head of global Procurement BPS sourcing.
what you will be doing
You’ll be helping business owners and category managers source Non-IT services across HR, Marketing, Professional Services, Travel and Fleet. This includes managing RFx processes, supplier contracts and onboarding, all in line with overarching category strategies. You’ll also assist travelers and their bookers, ensuring smooth travel arrangements and administering the online booking system.
Cross-category support:
- support RFx initiatives including project management with data collection, requirements setting, shortlisting and supplier selection
- support supplier onboarding and contract implementation
- provide daily support for business stakeholders in buying products and services (how to buy etc.)
Travel operational support:
- Monitor and respond to queries in the shared Travel team inbox
- Help and guide travelers and bookers with booking arrangements
- Train travelers on tools and travel policies
- Be the first point of contact for operational requests
- Manage user access and handle incidents within the Online Booking Tool
- Assist with payment solutions and the implementation of new travel partners or systems - Regularly meet with the travel management provider to ensure smooth operations - support the administration of our payment solutions

who will you work with
The global Procurement department consists of the IT Sourcing, BPS (Non-IT) Sourcing and the Procurement Excellence team. Together, we play a key role in enabling the business strategy. You’ll report to the Head of BPS Procurement and work directly with category managers for HR, Marketing, Professional Services, Fleet and Travel & Mobility.
what you will bring
You bring a service-oriented mindset and a natural ability to balance different interests while achieving goals. You communicate well and have strong negotiation skills. With 3+ years of experience in procurement category management or operations, you are a skilled business partner. You have a strong affinity for the HR, Marketing, and Professional Services categories and understand their unique challenges. Experience managing travel operations is a plus, but not essential as we will support you in getting to know the details.
