Lead Digital Business Partner, Regional
Purpose of the Job
The Lead Digital Business Partner, a strategic leader within Randstad’s Digital Office, represents the digital technology strategy and possesses extensive knowledge of HR technology and industry trends. This expert provides consultative support to North American teams, including Sales, Solution Design, Service Design, Operational Excellence, Business Operations, Professional Services & Implementation. They support new business bids, renewals, expansion opportunities, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), innovation workshops, and other technology inquiries. As a trusted advisor, the Lead Digital Business Partner identifies and addresses client challenges, shaping recommendations that align with Randstad’s digital expertise and client needs.
The Lead Digital Business Partner will collaborate across Randstad’s internal landscape, working closely with the Digital Office Tech & Business Partner Hubs, Global Transformation Office, Enablement and Product Development teams to ensure that technology solutions are strategically aligned and optimized for client success. They will also partner with the Technology Partner Hub to ensure ROI and consistency. As an ambassador of technology innovation, the Lead Digital Business Partner will maintain a knowledge base of Randstad’s technology stack and partner ecosystem, drive continuous improvement, and provide thought leadership to senior leaders, external stakeholders, and clients. The Lead Digital Business Partner will effectively bridge communication across departments, fostering a cohesive and integrated approach to technology and client engagement.
Consultative Digital Business Partner
In this role, the Lead Digital Business Partner plays a pivotal role in supporting the Enterprise teams by providing strategic, consultative expertise tailored to both client needs and Randstad’s technology offerings. Acting as a trusted advisor, this individual will work closely with cross functional teams during presentations, client engagements, and new bids to help uncover and deeply understand client challenges. They will take a thoughtful, problem-first approach, probing beyond surface-level needs to identify the root causes and core business problems clients face.
The ideal candidate will excel at asking insightful questions to dig into the “why” behind client requirements and objectives, using active listening and analytical skills to fully grasp the unique challenges and opportunities each client presents. By bringing this level of depth and empathy to conversations, the Lead Digital Business Partner will be able to formulate customized recommendations that align with client goals while positioning Randstad as a thought leader in HR technology solutions.
In addition to facilitating solution-oriented discussions, this individual will:
- Lead tailored, high-impact presentations that communicate technology solutions clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
- Guide clients and sales teams through market insights and technology trends, connecting these insights to real-world business impacts and future opportunities.
- Promote and enable digital fluency among clients and internal teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Randstad’s technology suite and its value proposition.
- Drive enthusiasm and buy-in from clients and internal teams by demonstrating a forward-thinking approach and showcasing the benefits of Randstad’s technology strategy.
- Foster strong, trust-based relationships both internally and externally by consistently acting as a proactive, solutions-focused consultant.
In this capacity, the Lead Digital Business Partner will not only support immediate sales goals but also contribute to long-term client satisfaction and technology adoption, helping to build Randstad’s reputation as a leader in innovative HR technology solutions.
Technology Subject Matter Expert
- Serve as a point of expertise on HR technology, engaging clients and stakeholders with Randstad’s digital capabilities and best practices.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to stay abreast of trends and differentiate Randstad’s offerings from competitors.
- Partner closely with the Technology Partner Hub when deeper expertise is needed and to provide feedback to that team regarding 3rd party technologies
- Partner with Randstad’s Product Development teams to understand roadmaps, advocate for enhancements, and align products with client needs.
- Drive innovation by staying attuned to the HR tech landscape, continuously advising on best-fit solutions and forward-thinking strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on tech compliance and security considerations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Provide in-depth knowledge and practical insights to internal teams, clients, and partners to enhance technology adoption.
- Manage product suite demonstrations, tailoring presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Relationships & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and manage high-level internal relationships with senior stakeholders, including Randstad’s Chief Digital Officer, Product Owners, Regional Managing Director, Delivery & Operations Leaders, Regional Sales & Solutions teams.
- Serve as the main point of contact and escalation for technology-related inquiries, ensuring timely responses and consistent client support.
- Lead efforts to gather feedback from Operations, Implementation, and Transformation teams to capture functionality gaps and influence product development.
- Build partnerships across North American teams to ensure Randstad’s technology solutions address client needs and market demands.
- Facilitate productive cross-functional dialogue and understanding, ensuring consistent delivery of technology solutions.
- Interface with external vendors to build and maintain strategic partnerships that complement Randstad’s technology ecosystem.
Job Requirements
Education, Experience & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in technology consulting, with 5+ years in a strategic role within HR tech, Talent Acquisition, or a related industry.
- Strong background in HR technology platforms, with expertise in ATS, CRM, and contingent workforce management systems (VMS)
- Experience in client-facing roles with a proven ability to engage senior executives and influence decision-making.
- Knowledgeable in MSP and RPO processes and tech compliance requirements
- Familiarity with working in a complex, matrixed organisation across multiple geographies.

- Experience with a variety of HR and recruitment technologies from both user and administrator perspectives.
- Global experience or a strong understanding of multi-regional technology requirements.
- Presentation experience in a thought leader capacity, with the ability to communicate effectively in sales environments.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
