job purpose
Primary responsibility is to manage client operations and delivery teams. Major goals are to reach the highest level of client satisfaction, performance and people management. We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Global Business Services team on a 12 month FTC. You will be responsible for the teams of two exciting accounts, a global pharmaceutical company and a market leading telecommunications company. Cross cultural market experience is essential and the ability to speak German is desirable.
The senior role applies to the team members but also other managers within the GBS centre. For example: by being a mentor for managers and team leads, by leading meetings and designing business processes and overseeing SLA and KPI target settings in a specific area. You will ensure we are aligned with operations and be able to communicate changes and priorities to the managers and team leads to put into practice.
key responsibilities
- Client Management - manages key client relationships, typically by using account teams to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty toward the organisation
- Escalation point of contact
- Meet budget commitments, service level agreements and KPIs
- Engage with the operations teams to understand needs and drivers, to ensure appropriate strategies are aligned and put in place
- Periodically report and review services, SLA’s and KPI’s, budget, team performance, participate in business reviews etc
- Participate in the RFP/RFI process, supporting new client bids and tenders
- Provide regular communication to the organization to update them on market developments, business priorities and performance of the Delivery Centre to create a positive working environment
- Should coach and mentor team management in their development and provide mentorship to assist with reaching their goals
- Ensure all team members conform to RSR processes and quality procedures as defined
- Identify and share best practices with team members
- Helps manage the performance of direct reports by working within performance management systems
- Should continually review delivery KPIs; control and improve productivity
- Participates in developing policies for areas of responsibility, creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation within the organisation
- Develop and refine client processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions needed to streamline work-flow and increase operating
