Staffing Industry Analysts: companies shift permanent roles to contingent.
A recent survey of human capital leaders from 17 countries found that 25% of companies are reclassifying permanent roles to contingent positions. This is good news for the 55% of working professionals who say they are open to nontraditional work arrangements.
Randstad Sourceright’s 2019 Talent Trends research also found that 76% of businesses are likely to implement a total talent approach to staffing this year. Companies most likely to migrate to a total talent management model include automotive and manufacturing (86%), life sciences and healthcare (85%), and banking and financial services (76%).
