SIA: finding the right talent remains a challenge for 40%.
Although millions of people around the world are looking for work, finding appropriately skilled talent still remains elusive. That was a key takeaway from Randstad Sourceright’s 2021 Talent Trends research.
“... despite this large talent pool of available workers, employers continue to face a growing skills gap that has been exacerbated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” says Mike Smith, global CEO of Randstad Sourceright.
Forty percent (40%) of C-suite and human capital leaders agree that talent scarcity is a real challenge to their business, particularly in IT (40%) and HR (28%) roles. The survey also finds that 20% of employers have made new investments in talent analytics during the pandemic to gain better visibility into their workforces. The majority (90%) will keep talent analytics in the budget going forward.
