HR Dive: prioritize inclusion to emerge from COVID-19 stronger.
As companies have been busy with creating crisis communications and business continuity plans in response to the coronavirus pandemic, other important areas of focus, such as workplace diversity and inclusion programs, may have taken a back seat.
A recent report from McKinsey & Company, however, has found that companies with diverse executive teams are more likely to outperform peer organizations in profitability and business performance. Organizations that welcome and retain diverse talent during these challenging times are likely to emerge from the crisis stronger.
"If you really care about diversity and inclusion, this is your time to shine,” said Francesca Campalani, vice president of global talent marketing for Randstad Enterprise Group in a recent webinar.
