Paul Vincent, executive vice president and head of the Global Services Procurement Practice at Randstad Sourceright, sits down with Ardent Partners’ Chris Dwyer to talk about the evolution of services procurement in today’s staffing environment.

Companies must “lead with collaboration” to engage talent and get work done, notes Vincent in regard to SOW management and managed services programs (MSPs).

“There are so many different variables now. The workforce is more fluid than ever before. Services procurement must be fluid as well. This is key to competitiveness.”

Vincent stresses that the foundation of any services procurement program must focus on getting the work done. Not adding layers to the process. Procurement solutions must be anchored in best practices — yet still unique to each organization and its key metrics — to help organizations pinpoint opportunities and deploy quickly.
