Benefits Canada: 84% of employers considering permanent work-from-home policy.
Randstad Sourceright’s 2021 Talent Trends global survey of C-suite and human resources leaders found that Canadian companies are leading the way when it comes to offering workforce flexibility.
The majority (84%) are considering a permanent work-from-home policy to support the 59% of employees who currently work remotely. Almost 90% are increasing their overall focus on workforce agility more than ever before. Canadian employers (54%) are also surpassing the global average of 47% when it comes to increasing total talent investments across all labor classifications.
“You can’t achieve the business agility needed to thrive in today’s world without an agile workforce,” says Jean-Francois Vezina, executive vice-president and head of Canada at Randstad Sourceright. “As skills gaps widen and demand for talent heats up, you’re going to have to take a more holistic approach to talent acquisition to get ahead.”
