RISESMART RECEIVES $3MM FROM NORWEST VENTURE PARTNERS

RiseSmart is pleased to announce that we have received $3 million in Series A financing from Norwest Venture Partners of Palo Alto. As some of you may know, RiseSmart relocated from Dallas to Sunnyvale a few months ago; we did so partly in anticipation of this announcement and working closely with NVP's Venkat Mohan, who has joined RiseSmart's board of directors. We are proud of the confidence NVP has placed in RiseSmart. So, what will we do with the money? RiseSmart's business model is based on listening to our customers. We adjust the job results we deliver to jobseekers based on their feedback. We have made important improvements to our outplacement service based on the suggestions of our corporate clients.
