RiseSmart was named one of the top 25 companies of its size in a ceremony at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Thursday night.

Each company’s score is determined by employee responses to questions covering a wide range of topics. While specific employee benefits are not a factor in the ranking determinations, employees are asked to rate their satisfaction with the company’s benefits.

In addition to the Best Places to Work honor, RiseSmart was recently named a finalist for the TiE50, TiE’s annual awards program keenly contested by technology startups worldwide. Winners in that competition will be announced later this month.
