The purpose of the Revenue Operations (RevOps) Data Analyst role is to ensure that revenue-related data across sales, marketing, and finance is accurate, accessible, and actionable. This role is crucial for supporting revenue growth by managing and optimizing data quality, integration, and analytics within Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud. By maintaining clean data, establishing governance standards, and developing insightful reports, the RevOps Data Analyst drives efficient and scalable sales processes, enhances performance measurement, and enables data-driven decision-making across the entire customer lifecycle.

... - Data Quality and Standardization: Lead data quality efforts within Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud, ensuring accurate and reliable data that supports informed decision-making across RevOps. Evaluate and cleanse data to maintain consistency and accuracy, aligning with RevOps objectives for scalable processes.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with stakeholders in sales, marketing, and Go-To-Market technology to integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring smooth data flow across systems. This integration supports revenue-generating activities, personalized customer engagement, and accurate performance tracking.
- Insights and Analytics Enablement: Ensure data is structured and accessible for reporting and analytics, supporting actionable insights through dashboards and reports. Collaborate with stakeholders to track key metrics like customer acquisition, retention, and revenue forecasting.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Establish data governance frameworks aligned with RevOps objectives, ensuring compliance with data regulations (e.g., GDPR). Maintain documented data processes and audit-ready records to support transparency and accountability within RevOps.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities to enhance Salesforce functionality by leveraging AI, self-serve analytics, and low-code/no-code solutions. Propose and implement innovative solutions to drive process efficiencies, scalability, and value creation across RevOps.

- Maintenance of data quality standards, measured through regular audits and reporting.
- Stakeholder satisfaction and engagement levels throughout the migration and post-migration phases.
- Reduction in data errors and gaps as identified in pre- and post-migration assessments.

- Sales Productivity: Sales velocity, average deal size, time to close, and lead-to-opportunity conversion rate.

education, experience & knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Certified Data Management Professional) are a plus.
- 3-5 years experience in data management, data migration, or data analysis roles within a Salesforce environment, ideally within a RevOps, sales operations, or customer success context.
- Demonstrated success in supporting large-scale Salesforce transformations, including experience with Salesforce Media Cloud or other industry-specific solutions.
- Hands-on experience with data cleansing, ETL processes, and data migration best practices to ensure smooth integration across systems.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related CRM and RevOps functions.
- Familiarity with cross-functional integrations, especially with finance systems like Workday and tools supporting Master Data Management (e.g., Profisee, Collibra).
- Proficient in SQL and other data manipulation languages, with experience in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Deep knowledge of data quality, governance, and compliance standards, including GDPR, to maintain robust data practices across the organization.
- A solid foundation in RevOps principles, including understanding of customer journey mapping, revenue attribution, and KPI alignment.
